Job summary

Zinfra PTY Ltd. is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Officer to support field operations by managing stock, sourcing supplier goods and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The role offers variety across purchasing, inventory control and continuous improvement with autonomy.

You'll work with internal teams, contractors and suppliers, ensuring materials are available when and where they're needed, while contributing to data accuracy and efficient processes in SAP-based systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in purchasing, inventory, procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing or industrial environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders and supplier communications
  • Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting activities
  • Maintain accurate material and purchasing data within SAP
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse providers and internal stakeholders
  • Process sales orders, invoicing and customer enquiries
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and inventory performance

About the Role

As a Purchasing & Inventory Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting field operations by managing inventory, coordinating purchasing activities and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Working with internal teams, contractors and suppliers, you'll help ensure materials are available when and where they're needed.

This is a varied role offering a mix of purchasing, inventory management, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, with plenty of autonomy and ownership.

Key Responsibilities include:
