Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer (LRE) to lead and support the design and manufacture of liquid rocket engines, advancing Australia's space capabilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 4+ years with CAD designing parts and assemblies (NX/Teamcenter preferred).
• Experience with FEA or Multiphysics simulation (ANSYS/NASTRAN/ABAQUS/CFD).
• Experience designing, manufacturing and/or testing Liquid Rocket Engines.
• NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and manufacture of liquid rocket engines.
• Define testing requirements to qualify liquid rocket engines.
• Review drawings for production and perform design reviews.
• Provide senior guidance and allocate work for junior team in liaison with head of propulsion.
• Liaise with Assembly Integration and Test department for production activities.
• Record technical design details in reports.
