You will build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, coordinate maintenance, monitor rent arrears and ensure compliance with Victorian regulations.

• Proven experience in residential property management; commercial experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, ensuring professional management and maintenance.
• Landlord & Tenant Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-up.
• Rent & Arrears Management: Monitor payments and implement strategies to minimise arrears.
• Property Inspections: Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with landlords, renters and contractors for repairs and issues.
• Legislation & Compliance: Ensure properties are managed in line with Victorian regulations.
• VCAT & Dispute Resolution: Manage tenancy disputes and prepare documentation for hearings.
• Financial Management: Monitor expenses, review invoices and keep landlords updated.
• Marketing & Advertising: Support marketing of rentals to attract tenants and reduce vacancy.
• Portfolio Growth & Retention: Identify opportunities to secure new managements and strengthen landlord relations.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to meet targets and maintain service standards.
