Job summary

Law Staff represents a leading international law firm in Brisbane, renowned for energy, infrastructure and major projects work. The role sits in the Brisbane Projects, Energy & Infrastructure team, offering exposure to market-leading matters from inception through completion.

You will advise government bodies, investors and contractors across procurement, development, construction, acquisitions and complex public sector transactions, with mentoring and career development built in.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' PAE with experience in a front-end Projects, Infrastructure and/or Construction team.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent academic results.
• Commercial and client-focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
• Genuine passion for major projects and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Advise government bodies, infrastructure investors, financiers, contractors and multinational corporations across the full project lifecycle: procurement, project development and construction, asset acquisition/divestment, complex government and public sector transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, and strategic project advisory.
• Work on projects spanning transport, energy, water, health, education, telecommunications, forestry and real estate, including Olympic-related work.
