Job summary

Practicepeople in Brisbane seeks an experienced construction lawyer to advise on front-end and back-end construction and infrastructure matters, spanning project advisory work and disputes. You will manage day-to-day matter delivery, gather evidence, meet with clients and provide practical guidance.

You will work with senior practitioners, take on leading matters, build trusted client relationships and mentor junior team members within a large specialist team, in a friendly Brisbane CBD setting

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ post-admission experience in construction law.
• Experience across front-end, back-end or a combination of both.
• Strong commercial acumen with well-developed analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lead matters, develop client relationships and mentor junior practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of front-end and back-end construction and infrastructure matters, spanning project advisory work and disputes.
• Take responsibility for day-to-day matter management, evidence gathering, client meetings and delivery of practical construction law advice.
• Work closely with senior practitioners while leading matters and mentoring junior team members.
