Job summary

Nacap is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join Brisbane-based teams on the Toowoomba to Warwick pipeline and other major infrastructure projects. You will develop, maintain and analyse integrated schedules to support on-time, on-budget delivery, and provide insights to project managers and senior stakeholders.

Reporting to Operations, you will drive planning excellence, forecasting, risk analysis and continuous improvement across planning systems, working with the Quanta Group.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in programming linear infrastructure works, ideally pipelines or similar civil projects.
• Strong ability to translate contractual requirements into a programme and realistic construction outcomes.
• Experience in JV or head contract environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain detailed baseline project schedules.
• Produce integrated schedules and progress measurement systems aligned with earned value.
• Collect, validate and analyse progress data from site teams and subcontractors.
• Produce forecasts and carry out risk reviews, what-if analyses and mitigation planning.
• Support delay analysis, time impact assessments and forensic planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with project controls standards and reporting cycles.
• Develop planning templates and high-quality schedule reports for stakeholders.
• Translate designs into credible delivery programs and mentor the team.
