  • Validate progress with delivery teams and subcontractors against objective evidence.
  • Issue weekly and monthly updates, forecasts, progress curves, milestone status and critical-path commentary.
  • Prepare practical look-ahead programmes covering site priorities, readiness and short-term commitments.
  • Identify delays, risks and constraints, then develop recovery, resequencing and mitigation options
  • Align the programme with design, procurement, permits, access, stakeholder commitments and construction methodology.
  • Support resource, production and cost planning using quantities, crew outputs, plant needs and schedule feasibility.
  • Assure schedule quality, records and auditability, including logic, progress, assumptions and approved changes.
  • Support variations, extensions of time and delay analysis through programme records, comparisons and time-impact assessments.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier programmes for logic, interfaces, milestones and alignment.
  • Lead planning workshops and communicate programme priorities and constraints.
  • Ensure programme outputs meet contract, project-plan, reporting and Client requirements.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Advanced Primavera P6 capability; Microsoft Project and advanced Excel are desirable.
  • Strong construction sequencing, production planning, critical-path and project-controls knowledge.
  • Experience integrating civil, pipeline, crossing, structural, mechanical, electrical, testing and commissioning works.
  • Experience in baselining, progress measurement, forecasting, reporting and recovery planning.
  • Working knowledge of Australian construction contracts, change control, extensions of time and delay analysis.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, quantities, procurement data, methodologies and subcontractor programmes.
  • Strong judgement, attention to detail and confidence challenging unsupported progress or forecasts.
  • Clear communication with site teams, management, clients and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively under competing site and reporting priorities.
Desired Experience
