Job summary

GenusPlus Group is leading risk and contingency management on Tasmania's NWTD project, reporting to the Commercial Manager and coordinating with TasNetworks. The role oversees risk frameworks, workshops, and quantitative risk analyses to support informed decisions across this major infrastructure program.

The position supports hybrid/remote work with periodic site travel to North West Tasmania as the project progresses, requiring strong facilitation and clear risk communication to senior leaders

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in project risk management on major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead risk workshops and communicate with executives.
• Experience with QRA to inform contingency planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the NWTD Risk Management Framework and the Project Risk and Opportunity Register, aligned to AS ISO 31000.
• Plan and facilitate risk and opportunity workshops with engineering, construction, procurement and commercial leads.
• Build and run quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses to produce P50/P90 outcomes for contingencies.
• Recommend contingency levels and track usage against forecasts.
• Quantify risk in variations, change proposals and subcontract awards with the Commercial Manager.
• Prepare monthly risk reporting for the Project Director and TasNetworks and lead risk reviews.
• Coach project leaders in risk ownership and capture lessons learned.
