Job summary

Genus is seeking a Project Risk Lead to own risk and contingency management on the NWTD TasNetworks project, reporting to the Commercial Manager. You'll turn uncertainty into clear, quantified information that helps the project team and client make better decisions, leading the risk framework and risk reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in project risk on infrastructure, hands-on QRA skills with Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk or @RISK, and travel to sites in North West Tasmania.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in project risk management on major infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management, or related discipline.
• Experience leading risk on contractor-side contracts valued at $200m+.
• Hands-on QRA experience with risk analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain NWTD Risk Management Framework and Risk Register.
• Plan and facilitate risk and opportunity workshops with cross-functional leads.
• Build and run quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses (QRA).
• Recommend contingency levels and track usage against forecast.
• Quantify risk in variations and claims exposure with Commercial Manager.
• Prepare monthly risk reporting for leadership and TasNetworks.
• Coach project leaders in risk ownership and capture lessons learned.
