Job summary

The Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC) is seeking a Senior Project Officer in Ear Health to lead projects that improve ear health outcomes for Aboriginal children across NSW. You will work with ACCHOs, specialist services and sector partners to expand training, strengthen workforce capability and deliver culturally appropriate health promotion.

As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will strengthen connections between ACCHOs and ear health services,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health or social sciences.
• Experience in primary health care, public health, or policy relevant to Aboriginal health.
• Ability to travel statewide to schools and member services.
• Ability to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead Communities of Practice and working groups with ACCHOs.
• Coordinate program documentation, reporting, and deliverables.
• Build stakeholder and community relationships for informed programs.
• Develop evidence-based policy advice and briefs.
• Prepare project reports for stakeholders.
