Job summary

Public Sector Department seeks a Senior Communications Project Officer to lead strategic communications and digital engagement projects. You will work across diverse stakeholder groups, managing project outcomes and ensuring delivery on time, within scope and to a high standard.

  • Strong understanding of website governance, accessibility standards and user experience principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes across multiple groups.
  • Experience managing procurement processes, contracts and external suppliers.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the preparation of briefings, reports and strategic advice.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making.
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical specialists, digital teams or external partners.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Your new role
