Job summary

Department of Justice in Perth seeks a Senior Project Officer (Maintenance) to provide expert advice on infrastructure maintenance, replacement, minor works, and improvement priorities to key internal and external stakeholders.

The Senior Project Officer will coordinate budgets, monitor or commission maintenance programs, travel to regional sites, evaluate performance, and develop asset maintenance plans to sustain the Department’s assets.

Qualifications

• C class license is required.
• Experience with infrastructure maintenance programs and budgets.

Job description

The position will provide expert advice on infrastructure maintenance, replacement, minor works; improvement and development priorities to key internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• The Senior Project Officer (Maintenance) is responsible for the effective co-ordination, budget management and monitoring or commissioning of infrastructure maintenance, replacement, low-risk minor works and improvement programs.
• The successful applicant will be required to undertake travel to regional sites within the State as part of the responsibility of the role.
• Evaluate project/program performance, identify areas of improvement and initiate changes.
• Prepare, maintain, and undertake infrastructure asset maintenance, replacement and improvement plans to ensure the sustainability of the Department’s assets.
