Job summary

Homes NSW is seeking a Senior Program Officer to oversee construction projects across the full lifecycle, from planning and procurement to governance and delivery, reporting to the Senior Manager, Building Services. You will work with government agencies, consultants, contractors and communities to deliver quality housing outcomes aligned with Homes NSW priorities, with regional travel as required.

• Experience in construction project management and governance.
• Experience running procurement processes and managing budgets across multiple projects.

Job description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Building Services you will manage projects across the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• You will manage project risks and governance processes, provide advice and reporting to senior stakeholders, and build productive relationships with government agencies, consultants, contractors and community stakeholders.
• As the Senior Program Officer, you will deliver a range of functions related to the delivery of construction (capital works) for Teacher and Police Housing.
• You will work collaboratively with government agencies, consultants, contractors and community stakeholders to deliver quality housing outcomes that align with Homes NSW strategic priorities.
• You will have a strong background in construction project management, running a procurement process and managing budgets and programs for multiple projects.

What you need

• The role will involve regional travel at short notice, including overnight travel, as required by the business and/or directed.
