Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Technical Services in Canberra to lead delivery of complex building services projects (HVAC, electrification, chiller systems). You will establish success criteria, manage time, cost, and performance parameters, and oversee governance and procurement activities.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, monitor finances, prepare progress reports and maintain client communications to ensure successful delivery across major real estate

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management who can deliver projects autonomously with senior support.

Responsibilities

• Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Planning and managing quality, safety, health and environment issues on projects.
• Risk identification and management.
• Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.
• Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan.
• Advising upon the procurement of contractors and consultants.
• Co-ordinating with the overall cross-functional project team.
• Managing the change control process.
• Monitoring and advising upon project finances.
• Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
• Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
• Strong stakeholder management, understanding client key requirements and communicating/reporting accordingly.
• Able to managefull cycle project delivery of technical building services projects from feasibility to delivery and handover.

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering field or project management, or relevant industry experience in building services and construction (Builder, Contract administration, Electrical, HVAC, Security, BMS, Fire, Hydraulic, etc).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project managementwho can deliver projects autonomously with senior support
