Job summary

Adbri is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex capital projects from inception to closeout at our Birkenhead site in South Australia. You will ensure safety, schedule, budget and governance alignment while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders. Intrastate travel is expected.

You will oversee project execution plans, risk registers, contract management and governance, driving performance and capability across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or related discipline).
• Postgraduate or recognised project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major brownfield and greenfield capital projects, ensuring safe, on-time and on-budget outcomes.
• Manage all project phases and governance requirements, including Project Execution Plans, risk registers and controls across scope, schedule and cost.
• Oversee contract management from development to commercial closeout, ensuring strong commercial, financial and risk discipline.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, fostering alignment, collaboration and shared accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement by strengthening PMO processes, governance frameworks and organisational project management maturity.
