Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking a Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end execution of medium to large projects in the Australian energy sector. You will coordinate customers, engineering, supply chain, factories and site teams to deliver against scope, schedule, cost and safety targets.

You will drive contract management, risk mitigation and stakeholder communication while ensuring compliant, on-time delivery and strong commercial outcomes across local and international interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Extensive project management experience in HV or similar energy infrastructure.
• Strong capability managing scope, schedule, cost and resources.
• Knowledge of high-voltage equipment and substations is preferred.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle from sales-to-execution handover to close-out.
• Lead scope, schedule, cost, resources and deliverables; mitigate issues and risks.
• Monitor financial performance: revenue, invoicing, cost, cash flow and forecasts.
• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, factories, suppliers and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards.
