Job summary

Hicon is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through handover in Sydney. The role focuses on coordinating programs, subcontractors, procurement, safety and quality to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You’ll drive project performance, proactively resolve issues and manage day-to-day activities across all delivery stages while working from the Cronulla office in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration

Qualifications

• Previous Project Management experience within commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality and project outcomes.
• Proficient in construction management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Monitor project programs, milestones and contractor performance.
• Oversee procurement, project coordination and day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project specifications.
• Lead project meetings, track actions and proactively manage risks and delays.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to provide regular project updates.
• Resolve project issues and coordinate outcomes across project teams.
