Job summary

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced project manager to lead and manage complex client-facing programmes from our Canberra office. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, safeguard scope, schedule and budget, and drive delivery to meet client expectations.

The role requires a degree in a technical field, over 5 years of PM experience, strong English reporting skills, and proficiency with MS Office; Primavera experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience, ideally client-side or consulting.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Cost Management or related field.
• Strong command of English with report and bid writing skills.
• Ability to lead complex projects in a high-pressure environment.
• Advanced MS skills; Primavera experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion.
• Manage the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
• Review project plans, schedules, costs, and risk management; identify issues and resolutions.
• Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
