Job summary

Alder Group on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead civil and infrastructure delivery across a growing portfolio. You will plan, program, manage cost control, and mentor project teams while sustaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage risks and variations, review documentation, and drive projects from start to finish with a focus on safety, quality, and value for local communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager within the Civil & Infrastructure sector.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Strong commercial acumen with programming, budgeting and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative approach with attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• Proficiency with project management and digital construction systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage project planning, programming, forecasting and cost control
• Lead project delivery, achieving safety, quality, programme and financial objectives
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver successful outcomes
• Identify and manage project risks, variations and contractual obligations
• Review project documentation and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Prepare project reports and oversee project close-out and final contract administration
• Provide support and assistance to the estimating team to help procure work as required by the Civil and Infrastructure General Manager
• Peruse in detail all project drawings, specifications and all other relevant documentation prior to project commencement and throughout project duration.
• Organise and chair project start up meetings with the project team and all supporting pillars
• Manage all head contract claims (variations, extensions or time, progress etc.)
