Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex business and technology initiatives within the ISB division in Australia. You will manage end-to-end delivery, develop project plans, budgets, and governance, and report to senior leadership.

Applicants should have 8+ years in senior PM roles, experience in insurance/regulated industries, and certifications like PMP/PRINCE2.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in senior project management roles delivering large-scale transformation, technology, regulatory, or compliance projects.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, IT, project management, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects from initiation through closure, on-time, on-budget, and to-quality outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations across multi-workstreams.
• Apply structured governance with stage gates, steering committees, and reporting cadences.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and actuals; provide regular financial reporting to senior leadership.
• Build relationships with executive stakeholders, vendors, and distributed teams.
• Deliver clear status updates, board papers, and executive reporting.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Lead, motivate, and coordinate internal staff, contractors, and third-party vendors.
• Manage vendor relationships and delivery partners.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across delivery.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex business and technology initiatives within DXC's Insurance Software and BPS (ISB) division.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget and to-quality outcomes
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations across multiple workstreams
• Apply structured project governance frameworks including stage gates, steering committees, and reporting cadences
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and actuals, providing regular financial reporting to senior leadership
• Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, business leaders, vendors, and geographically distributed teams
• Prepare and deliver clear project status updates, board papers, and executive reporting
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Lead, motivate, and coordinate project teams including internal staff, contractors, and third-party vendors
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party delivery partners
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across project delivery

Experience & Requirements

• 8+ years in senior project management roles delivering large-scale transformation, technology, regulatory, or compliance projects
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream projects within enterprise environments
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries (highly desirable)
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for business audiences
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial management, forecasting, and reporting
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (highly desirable)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, IT, project management, or related discipline
• Agile / SAFe certification or experience with hybrid delivery methodologies is a plus
• Proficiency with project management and delivery tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps
• Experience in workers' compensation or similar claims management environments would be an added advantage
