Job summary

Sapiens is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Service Delivery Management Group and align services with SLA commitments across multiple projects. You will guide business operations, coordinate personnel and subcontractors, drive delivery planning, manage risk and reporting, and mentor Scrum Masters to achieve program goals.

With 14+ years in project management and expertise in insurance, you will lead cross‑functional teams, enforce governance, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead the Service Delivery Management Group and report to the Sapiens Professional Services Executive.
• Manage business operations and reporting, addressing service delivery issues.
• Coordinate daily activities of personnel and subcontractors to support delivery.
• Lead efforts to meet SLA commitments and engage stakeholders and third parties.
• Maintain documentation and provide reports to client representatives.
• Onboard new personnel with required training.
• Drive delivery planning including SOW, WBS, and Change Control.
• Identify stakeholders and manage human resources across projects.
• Manage risk and communications across the program.
• Create delivery schedules, charters, milestones, resources, and impediments.
• Track delivery performance by time, cost, quality.
• Lead program status meetings and report delivery status.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to Scrum Masters and competency leads.

Job description

The Senior Project Manager will lead the Service Delivery Management Group and report to the Program Director. This role involves business management, service delivery coordination, and ensuring alignment with Service Level Agreement commitments across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Service Delivery Management Group and report to the Sapiens Professional Services Executive
• Manage business operations and associated reporting obligations, identifying and rectifying service delivery issues
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Supplier's Personnel and Subcontractors to support service delivery
• Lead and direct efforts to resolve issues and meet Service Level Agreement commitments, including attending meetings with stakeholders and third parties
• Maintain and update documentation and provide required reports to the client representative
• Ensure newly onboarded personnel complete required onboarding training
• Initiate and drive delivery planning activities including SOW, WBS, and Project Change Control
• Conduct stakeholder identification and human resource management across projects
• Manage risk and communication across the program
• Create and maintain project charters, delivery schedules, and plans by identifying resource estimates, timelines, milestones, task dependencies, and impediments
• Control and track delivery performance in respect to time, cost, and quality through constant evaluation of project progress
• Conduct regular program and delivery status meetings, reporting delivery status to management and project teams
• Provide day-to-day guidance to Scrum Masters and competency leads to ensure program goals are met

About you

• More than 14+ years of work experience and understanding of the Project Management framework, agile/scrum, waterfall and hybrid
• Experience of working on the Insurance domain
• Ability to lead and track multiple projects
• Proven leadership skills, able to lead and motivate the team
• Cost and risk management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to take decisions in critical scenarios
• Open to learn and pick up process and other organizational methodologies for project execution and management
