If you're an experienced PM who enjoys running proper builds, not just managing paperwork, this could tick a few boxes.

We're working with a respected Melbourne builder looking for a Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a $25m, 25-apartment development in Parkville.

This isn't a step-up role. You'll need to have delivered multi-storey apartment projects of a similar scale and understand the challenges that come with them. From procurement and programming through to managing subcontractors, cost control and handover, you'll have the experience to take ownership and keep things moving.

You'll be trusted to make decisions, backed by an approachable director who understands the pressures of construction and gives his team the support and autonomy to do their jobs properly.

The business has built a strong reputation delivering high-end multi-residential and commercial projects across Melbourne. They've grown carefully, maintaining a close-knit team with low staff turnover and opportunities for career progression.

There's plenty of banter around the office, regular team lunches, sporting events and social catch-ups. The business recognises the extra hours that construction can demand, giving half a day off in lieu for every Saturday worked. The inner-city office is conveniently located close to cafes, restaurants and public transport.

To be considered, you'll need a strong head contractor background and proven experience delivering apartment projects of a similar value. Both experienced PMs and Senior PMs will be considered.

The salary is up to $250k package, depending on experience.
