Job summary

McMahon Services seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Adelaide team, reporting to the General Manager and leading complex multidisciplinary turnkey projects from concept through to completion.

You will work alongside engineering, commercial and operational teams across Defence, mining, infrastructure, water and resources, delivering exceptional client outcomes while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 10 years' experience delivering complex construction or engineering projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects from award through to completion.
• Manage project planning, procurement, programming and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers and site teams.
• Identify business development opportunities and support tender activities.
• Manage contracts, variations, forecasting and project reporting.
• Champion Safety Certainty 2.0 while driving quality, environmental and compliance outcomes.

About The Role

As our Engineering & Projects business continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Adelaide team.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead the successful delivery of complex multidisciplinary turnkey projects from concept through to completion, working alongside experienced engineering, commercial and operational teams to achieve exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Our Engineering & Projects business delivers projects across a diverse range of industries, including Defence, mining and resources, water infrastructure, industrial facilities, marine, oil and gas, food and beverage, bulk material handling, structural, mechanical and piping (SMP), and general construction. This breadth of work provides genuine variety, allowing you to apply your expertise across multiple sectors while delivering technically challenging projects that make a lasting impact across Australia.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of complex projects from award through to completion.

What You'll Bring
