Job summary

Hinchen Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Lead Electrical Engineer to take technical ownership of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for a major $109.6 million mine infrastructure upgrade in NSW. You will lead a dedicated electrical team, coordinate with mechanical and civil leads, and drive delivery from design through commissioning in a live operating environment.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of electrical engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Extensive experience in mining/heavy industry projects.
• Proven leadership of electrical discipline on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical design assurance and deliverables.
• Lead high-voltage works, substations and switchgear.
• Coordinate PLC/SCADA integration with existing systems.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing and energisation.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Australian Standards.
