Hinchen Recruitment Group in Marulan, NSW, is seeking a Project Lead Electrical Engineer to own the electrical, instrumentation and control scope behind a $109.6 million mine infrastructure upgrade. Lead a dedicated electrical team on a live site, coordinate with mechanical and civil leads, and shepherd designs through energisation, commissioning and handover.

You'll apply high‑level technical judgement, ensure NSW mine electrical safety compliance, and deliver safe, reliable power and control

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in resources/mining/heavy industrial projects.
• Proven delivery of HV infrastructure from design through energisation.
• Experience leading electrical discipline on major engineering or infrastructure projects.

Responsabilidades

• Own electrical design assurance, technical integrity and deliverables.
• Lead HV infrastructure works: substations, transformers, switchgear.
• Oversee switchrooms, MCCs, VSDs, cabling and protection systems.
• Ensure PLC/SCADA integration with existing operations.
• Manage equipment specs, tenders, procurement support and supplier performance.
• Lead electrical installation oversight, contractor coordination and QA.
• Plan outages, isolation, testing and staged energisation with minimal disruption.
• Drive commissioning and handover to operations.
• Provide safety leadership and compliance with Australian Standards.
