Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Accountant to support project managers, business groups, and executives. You will prepare financial reports, conduct audits, and assess project performance against budgets, providing clear status updates using metrics.

You will coordinate monthly project reviews, manage month-end accruals with the accounting team, and oversee contracts with legal oversight. The role sits in Houston, Austin, or San Antonio.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in accounting, business or related field; 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and project finances.
• Proficient in MS Office and Deltek VantagePoint.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of Financial reports for management.
• Completion of project audits including quality and contract compliance audits.
• Assessment of the performance of a project against the project budget.
• Communicating project status and direction using tools and metrics.
• Establishment and coordination of monthly project reviews between PMs and supervisors.
• Communicating with PMs and the Accounting department on month-end revenue accruals and progress reporting.
• Administration and development (with Legal oversight) of contracts/agreements.
• Project set-up including setup documents, schedules, filing procedures, and work plans.
• Project close-out ensuring proper filing and write-ups per policy.
