Lawson Elliott Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Accountant for a construction-focused portfolio based around Brisbane. You will own project accounting processes, drive financial visibility, and work closely with project managers and operational teams to improve profitability and cash flow across multiple projects.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and Commercial Manager, you will monitor WIP, coordinate progress claims, and provide insightful financial analysis to support

• Commercially focused accountant with experience in project accounting.
• Experience in a project-based or construction environment is preferred.
• Ability to drive financial visibility and improve project outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Report on project revenue, costs, margins and profitability, identifying variances and risks.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and allocate costs appropriately.
• Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations and project analysis.
• Review budgets/forecasts and provide insights on performance and overruns.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly progress claims aligned with contracts and milestones.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to improve financial performance and cash flow.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support working capital.
