Connect People is seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join our client’s finance team in St Leonards, NSW. This contract role supports infrastructure projects across Australia with a hands-on, project-focused approach.

Responsibilities include end-to-end project accounting, month-end close, revenue and billing management, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. NSW-based with hybrid work options.

Formación

• Senior level project accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards.
• Good understanding of project accounting concepts and link to business performance.
• SAP financial systems experience preferred.
• Lifecycle management contract experience preferred.
• Confident working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Australian working rights and based in Sydney.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end project accounting across the full project lifecycle.
• Month-end and year-end close including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage revenue, cost and margin recognition and investigate variances.
• Manage project billing, WIP and receivables.
• Prepare and review project financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and audit requirements.
