Job summary

SRG Global is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer for its Utilities division in Australia. You will coordinate engineering, construction and commercial activities across multidisciplinary works, including water and wastewater infrastructure, pump stations and pipelines.

You will own key project packages, coordinate subcontractors, support planning and procurement, and drive safe, efficient project delivery while liaising with clients and teams to resolve technical and scheduling issues.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years as a Senior Project Engineer in Civil/Utilities/Water Infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong safety leadership capability.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• High level of personal resilience and persistence.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project works per scope, budget, program and methodologies.
• Identify and manage risks, opportunities, variations and claims.
• Manage subcontractor performance and contractual requirements.
• Monitor costs, budgets and margins; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate procurement, labour, plant and resources for delivery.
• Manage documentation including ITPs, inspections and handover.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and teams to resolve issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure environmental compliance.
• Ensure teams comply with plans, policies and procedures.
