Job summary

Lendlease is an internationally integrated real estate group delivering development, investment, and construction services. We are recruiting Senior Project Engineers to WA to support long-term projects, manage subcontractors, and implement procurement strategies with a focus on safety and quality.

You will develop construction programs, review drawings for constructability, and ensure compliance with standards while coordinating with multiple stakeholders across sites in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with Australian building codes and standards is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in planning, executing, and closing out construction projects.
• Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Review drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and resources; identify delays or cost overruns.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure coordination.
• Contribute in project meetings with technical input and problem-solving solutions.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures on site.
• Assist in procurement, including evaluating bids and managing vendor relationships.
