Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer on the Sunshine Coast for a major transport project. You will lead delivery of a new multi-level car park within a live operating environment, keeping access safe for pedestrians, vehicles and construction traffic.

Essential qualifications include civil/structural engineering, extensive experience delivering concrete structures, and strong FRP background.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in civil, structural or construction.
• Senior project engineering experience delivering concrete structures.
• Experience with multi-level car parks or similar building structures.
• Strong FRP background (formwork, reinforcement and concrete pours) with subcontractor management.
• Experience with Tier 1 or strong Tier 2 contractors.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain rail, site and medical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery of the car park structure from demolition to finishes.
• Plan staging to keep pedestrians, vehicles and operations safe during construction.
• Run design reviews, constructability workshops, and RFI close-out.
• Manage package budgets, forecasts, procurement and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate testing, finishing works, operational readiness and handover.
