Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is recruiting a Graduate Engineer to support site engineering and project delivery on a major transport infrastructure project in South East Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your engineering career with mentorship and exposure to brownfield construction in a regulated transport environment.

You will work with site engineers on work packs, drawings, inspections, and handover documentation, with a focus on learning construction methodology,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or near completion
• Transcript or expected completion date required
• Construction placements or site exposure are highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Support site engineers with work pack preparation and construction planning
• Assist with drawing management, specification interpretation and technical queries
• Participate in field inspections, testing and quality control activities
• Help maintain site records, progress documentation and as-built information
• Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety inductions
• Assist with commissioning and handover documentation
• Learn and apply construction methodology and sequencing principles
• Support survey and dimensional control activities
• Engage with supervisors and subcontractors to understand construction practice
• Contribute to project assurance and compliance activities
