Job summary

Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd in Maroochydore, QLD is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Car Park to lead engineering delivery of a large rail and civil package, ensuring safe access for pedestrians, vehicles and operations. Relocation packages are on offer; Australian experience is required.

You will coordinate design reviews, manage budgets and lead subcontractors to meet programme milestones. This role demands strong leadership in constrained environments and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in civil, structural or construction, or equivalent experience.
• Contractor delivery experience leading civil packages.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain rail, site and medical competencies.
• Contractor-side experience with work packs, ITPs and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own construction planning and governance for demolition, earthworks, drainage, pavements, structures, services and finishes.
• Develop staging that maintains safe pedestrian, vehicle, emergency and operational access.
• Lead design reviews, constructability workshops, temporary-works coordination and technical-query close-out.
• Manage package budgets, forecasts, procurement, subcontract performance and schedule recovery.
• Coordinate testing, finishing works and operational readiness.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Car Park to lead engineering delivery of a package while maintaining safe access for users, adjacent operations and construction traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Own construction planning and engineering governance for demolition, earthworks, drainage, pavements, structures, services and finishes
• Develop staging that maintains safe pedestrian, vehicle, emergency and operational access
• Lead design reviews, constructability workshops, temporary-works coordination and technical-query close-out
• Manage package budgets, forecasts, procurement, subcontract performance and schedule recovery
• Coordinate testing, finishing works and operational readiness

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering qualification in civil, structural or construction, or equivalent experience
• Contractor delivery experience, including leading civil, structural or building packages in constrained environments
