Amida Group in Sydney is seeking a driven Senior / Project Engineer to join its growing construction team. You will lead daily delivery of high‑quality and on‑time projects, coordinating design, subcontractors and on‑site trades to ensure drawings and specifications are met.

Experience with post‑tension concrete and large-scale structures (AUD 50m–100m+) is highly valued; this permanent full‑time role offers rapid career progression within a leading national head contractor with a strong culture.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or similar.
• Minimum 5-15+ years’ experience.
• Experience in post-tension concrete structures.
• Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards.
• Strong project financial reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Project Delivery & Site Coordination – Planning, coordination and execution of construction works; Managing subcontractors, suppliers and consultants on site; Monitoring construction programs, procurement schedules and project milestones; Reviewing drawings, shop drawings and technical documentation; Resolving technical issues and contributing to value engineering initiatives.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance – Overseeing quality control across site activities; Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and statutory requirements; Supporting site safety systems, inspections and reporting.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination – Supporting project reporting, progress claims and cost tracking; Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders; Assisting the Project Manager/Project Director with day-to-day project administration as required.

Our client is a growing and leading Sydney-based construction group delivering high-quality commercial projects and have an expanding pipeline across NSW. They are seeking a driven and capable Senior / Project Engineer to join its growing construction team.

You will be responsible for the daily delivery of high quality and on-time construction projects, ensuring that the projects are completed to documented drawings, specifications and nominated timeframes.

Having previous experience working on large scale structures including post-tension concrete structures is ideal. Projects experience from $50m to $100m+ is ideal.
