Metso in Australia is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, Capital & Aftermarket Pumps (APA) to join the Capital & Aftermarket Pumps team in the Services area. The role provides project engineering, technical coordination, and execution support for capital and aftermarket pump projects across the APA region, with West Perth as the location and hybrid work model.

You will report to the Director, Capital and Aftermarket Pumps, travel regionally, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe,

Competenze

• Degree in mechanical/chemical/mining/materials engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong project engineering experience within slurry handling or mineral processing.
• Understanding of wear, sealing, and materials in slurry pump contexts.
• Experience managing contracts, technical queries and documentation.
• Commercial awareness of project margins and risks.

Mansioni

• Provide project engineering and technical support for capital and aftermarket pump projects.
• Translate requirements into pump selections, materials, configurations and BOMs.
• Coordinate inputs across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
• Prepare, review and control project documentation and handover packages.
• Support slurry pump application reviews including hydraulics and wear strategies.
• Manage contract scope, changes, risk, and customer communications.
• Monitor supplier progress and ensure inspections and deadlines are met.
• Capture lessons learned and support lifecycle handovers.
