Job summary

Sulzer Australia Pty Ltd. is hiring a Project Engineer for the APAC Flow division. The role supports technical project planning, execution, and monitoring, working independently with supervision and delivering engineering and analytical support across projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects from order intake to delivery, configuring equipment, reviewing data sheets, and preparing documentation. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with technical report writing / technical documentation.
• Exposure and experience to SAP, D365 ERP, Project Control software such as ACONEX.
• Project execution responsibility (scheduling, cost control, documentation and invoicing timely reporting).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to engage and work with others.
• Experience in taking responsibility for order delivery and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate customer projects from order intake through to delivery, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and schedule requirements are achieved.
• Provide technical engineering support, including equipment configuration (SAP), data sheets design review against customer specification, and preparation of project documentation and reporting.
• Act as the primary interface between customers, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
• Promote and maintain Sulzer's commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all project activities.
