Job summary

Ausenco, Perth-based, is seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to drive design and delivery across large-scale projects in the mining sector. You will lead civil teams, coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups, and apply 12D/Civil3D skills to optimise layouts and constructability in remote environments.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets and civil cost estimates, and ensure safe, efficient delivery from scoping through EPC stages.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
Proven ability to lead Civil project teams.
Experience in Earthworks, Roadworks and Drainage design in mining/mineral processing.
Mining facilities design and project layout optimization; hands-on with 12D/AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
Chartered status is a strong asset.
Mentoring and coaching personnel.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to prioritise design team tasks.

Responsibilities

Deliver Civil engineering design for process plant platforms, roads, drainage and related infrastructure.
Supervise Civil engineers, review deliverables and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with project teams and other disciplines on site layout optimization.
Contribute to cost-efficient delivery by managing deliverables, budgets and cost estimates.
Issue drawings for tender and construction and manage Engineers/ Designers.
