Greatland Resources Limited is seeking a hands‑on project leader to oversee planning, engineering, procurement, contractor management and execution across structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines at our Western Australia operations. The role focuses on delivering brownfield capital projects with strong cost control and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years' experience within mining, mineral processing or industrial infrastructure environments.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering brownfield capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Strong contract management experience, including management of construction contractors and vendors.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards relating to civil, structural, mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in project scheduling, cost control, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and SAP.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor certification.
• Experience managing engineering consultants and design contracts.
• Experience in infrastructure and layout design.
• Previous leadership experience managing project teams or contractors within a mining environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead the safe delivery of sustaining capital projects from initiation through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts and resources to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate engineering, design reviews, procurement activities and construction execution.
• Oversight construction contractors and consultants to ensure delivery meets quality, safety and performance expectations.
• Engage with operational stakeholders to define project requirements, develop solutions and manage scope changes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Greatland, Telfer and Australian Standards, statutory requirements and company procedures.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide accurate monthly progress and capital forecasting reports.
• Drive strong cost management practices through effective budgeting, forecasting and expenditure control.
• Promote a culture of safety leadership through contractor management, field leadership activities and critical control verification.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve asset reliability, operational efficiency and project delivery outcomes.
