Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Brisbane's high-rise residential sector. The role involves leading technical aspects, coordinating designers and subcontractors, and ensuring design integrity across pre-construction and delivery phases.

Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in multi-storey residential projects, pre-construction design coordination, and thorough procurement experience, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project/Senior Project Engineer in commercial construction.
• Experience delivering multi-storey residential projects.
• Pre-construction experience including design coordination, buildability reviews and procurement.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methodologies.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing technical aspects of multi-storey residential construction projects.
• Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and design documentation.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and resolving design discrepancies.
• Assisting with construction planning, programming and procurement.
• Working closely with the project team throughout pre-construction and delivery.
• Managing QA, ITPs, technical submissions and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
