Job summary

Lycopodium invites a Lead/Senior Project Engineer to join our global team, reporting to the Group Manager - Project Delivery. You will provide technical assistance across planning, design, evaluation, execution and handover of assigned projects in line with company and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
• Min 7 years’ postgraduate experience in a similar position, ideally within an EPCM environment.
• Experience working on Mineral Processing Plants (gold, lithium, copper, nickel) or similar capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience working with modularisation including in design, procurement, transport and project implementation.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with ensuring compliance with the project specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards.
• Contributing to project control activities including scheduling, forecasting and other deliverables to a consistently high standard.
• Assisting with and perform procurement, inspection and expediting activities.
• Carrying out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, in a manner that priorities safety, environment, community and industrial relations.
• Assisting the Project Manager in developing and maintaining the project quality management facility to ensure project quality targets and reporting are met.
• Contributing to the preparation of construction reports, contracts and schedules, managing tender and contract documentation for review in accordance with quality assurance.
