Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Brisbane project team. Based in Brisbane, you will work across mining and minerals projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and site visits as required.

You will plan scope, manage procurement, review ITPs/FIRs, and ensure on-time delivery. The role requires 6+ years in mining/materials handling, Engineering degree in Civil/Mechanical/Structural/Electrical, National Police clearance, White Card, and

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical.
• 6+ years in mineral resources or materials handling.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders to review contract packages.
• Familiarity with scheduling and project controls systems.
• Current National Police clearance and White Card.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the scope of work for the project including labour, equipment and materials delivery.
• Assist with procurement and expediting activities.
• Responsible for package management and scheduling.
• Review and prepare ITPs/FIRs for project controls.
• Follow up with logistics on time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Prepare RFQs, tenders and purchase requisitions.
