GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the Brisbane Project Team, delivering multi-discipline engineering design and construction outcomes across mining and minerals projects.

Based in Brisbane with regular site visits, you will manage scope, schedule and procurement, coordinate contract packages, and review ITPs/FIRs to ensure on-time delivery across project lifecycles.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent in relevant discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years experience in mineral resources or materials handling sectors.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders to prepare and review contract packages.
• Familiarity with scheduling and project controls systems.
• Current National Police clearance and White Card are required.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and scope work for the project, including labour, equipment and material delivery.
• Produce accurate design documentation and drawings.
• Assist with procurement and expediting activities.
• Manage packaging and scheduling of project components.
• Review ITPs/FIRs, and liaise with logistics on timely deliveries.
• Prepare RFQs, RFIs, tenders and purchase requisitions.

About Us:

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for experienced Senior Project Engineers to join our Project Team working alongside a multidisciplined team to deliver outstanding results across various projects in the mining and minerals industry

Based out of our Brisbane office you would work on various projects across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc) with regular site visits depending on project requirements

A typical day will consist of:

• Planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project, including labour, delivery of equipment and materials
• Producing accurate design documentation
• Assisting with procurement and expediting
• Responsible for package management, and scheduling.
• Review/preparing ITPs/FIRs
• Follow up (and liaise with logistics) on time delivery of the materials and equipment
• Preparing request for quotations, request for tenders, bids evaluations and purchase requisitions

About you:

• Relevant Engineering qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical)
• Minimum 6+ years experience particularly in the mineral resource or materials handling industries.
• Ability to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to produce and review contract packages.
• Familiarity with scheduling and project controls systems.
• Current National Police clearance
• White Card
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
