Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers for our Brisbane project team. Work across multiple mining and minerals projects, with regular site visits and a multidisciplinary environment.

You will plan scopes, coordinate procurement, manage packages, and lead scheduling to deliver outcomes. The role requires engineering qualifications and 6+ years in mineral resources or materials handling, plus police clearance and White Card, and full Australian

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years experience in the mineral resource or materials handling industries.
• Current National Police clearance.
• White Card.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders to produce and review contract packages.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope the project including labour, delivery of equipment and materials.
• Assist with procurement and expediting.
• Manage packages and scheduling.
• Review ITPs/FIRs.
• Coordinate follow-up with logistics for on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
• Prepare RFQs, tenders, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions.

About Us:

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.

The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for experienced Senior Project Engineers to join our Project Team working alongside a multidisciplined team to deliver outstanding results across various projects in the mining and minerals industry

Based out of our Brisbane office you would work on various projects across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc) with regular site visits depending on project requirements

A typical day will consist of:

• Planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project, including labour, delivery of equipment and materials
• Assisting with procurement and expediting
• Responsible for package management, and scheduling.
• Review/preparing ITPs/FIRs
• Follow up (and liaise with logistics) on time delivery of the materials and equipment
• Preparing request for quotations, request for tenders, bids evaluations and purchase requisitions

About you:

• Relevant Engineering qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical)
• Minimum 6+ years experience particularly in the mineral resource or materials handling industries.
• Ability to liaise with all relevant stakeholders to produce and review contract packages.
• Familiarity with scheduling and project controls systems.
• Current National Police clearance
• White Card
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
