Job summary

Laing O’Rourke Australia Construction Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the AUKUS team in Osborne, SA. You will lead delivery across complex, multidisciplinary projects, build strong client and supplier relationships, and coach teams to achieve high-performance outcomes.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years’ construction/engineering experience, a relevant engineering degree, and eligibility for an Australian Defence NV1 security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ construction/engineering project experience.
• Proven construction or engineering project experience.
• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Construction Management or equivalent.
• Australian citizens with ability to obtain Australian Defence NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain.
• Coach and mentor teams to drive high-performance delivery.
• Drive strategic planning and problem-solving with commercial acumen.
• Ensure construction activities are delivered safely and in accordance with client cost, time, quality and scope requirements.
