Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our AUKUS team delivering the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard project in Osborne, South Australia. You will lead delivery across complex, multidisciplinary projects and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and suppliers.

With a minimum of 10 years' construction/engineering project experience and a relevant degree, you will coach teams, drive strategic planning and ensure safe, on-time delivery in line with

Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years' construction/engineering project experience.
Proven construction or engineering project experience.
Strong design knowledge to drive constructability outcomes.
Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) or Construction Management or equivalent.
Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Australian Defence NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery across complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain.
Coach and mentor teams to drive high-performance delivery.
Drive strategic planning and problem-solving with commercial acumen.
Ensure construction activities are delivered safely and in accordance with client cost, time, quality and scope requirements.
