Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth in Maroochydore, QLD is leading a >$1 billion transport infrastructure program across South East Queensland. The Senior Planner - Civils will head the planning function for greenfield delivery, developing and controlling the integrated program with credible baselines, reliable forecasts and timely action on critical interfaces.

You will build schedules from contract drawings and specs, work with construction teams on staging, run critical-path analyses, and support

Qualifications

• Planning, programming or project engineering experience in civil infrastructure.
• Experience on complex Tier 2 civil projects and above.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Strong reporting skills; ability to communicate program risk.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build the program from contract, drawings and specifications, setting scope, durations and key dates.
• Work with construction teams to plan staging and sequencing.
• Develop a logic-driven integrated program across design, approvals, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Run critical-path and delay analysis, flag risks to milestones and look for time savings.
• Support estimating with resource-loaded programs and prepare program reporting.

Indigenous Business Growth – Maroochydore QLD

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works in both brownfield and greenfield environments. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Senior Planner - Civils to lead the planning function across the greenfield delivery area, developing and controlling the integrated program and providing a credible baseline, reliable forecasts and timely action on critical interfaces and emerging delay.
