Job summary

Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd – Maroochydore QLD is seeking a Senior Planner - Civils to lead the planning function across greenfield delivery, shaping the integrated program and delivering credible baselines, forecasts and timely actions on critical interfaces.

The role requires civil infrastructure planning experience, familiarity with Primavera P6, and the ability to manage complex Tier 2 projects to tight deadlines. Relocation packages are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, programming or project engineering for civil infrastructure.
• Experience on complex Tier 2 civil projects and above.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Strong reporting skills to identify and communicate program risk.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build the program from the contract, drawings and specifications, setting scope, durations and key dates.
• Work with construction teams to plan staging and sequencing.
• Develop a logic-driven integrated program across design, approvals, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Run critical-path and delay analysis, flag risks to milestones and look for time savings.
• Support estimating with resource-loaded programs and prepare program reporting.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works in both brownfield and greenfield environments. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Senior Planner - Civils to lead the planning function across the greenfield delivery area, developing and controlling the integrated program and providing a credible baseline, reliable forecasts and timely action on critical interfaces and emerging delay.

Workstream: Greenfields | Indicative start: 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Build the program from the contract, drawings and specifications, setting scope, durations and key dates
• Work with construction teams to plan staging and sequencing
