Job summary

Contec Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a two-year civil project in NSW. You will manage progress claims, variations, and provide weekly and monthly reports while mentoring junior engineers. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll ensure financial forecasts and controls align with client expectations.

TMR project delivery experience is essential. Work will focus on earthworks, pavements, culverts and bypass or upgrade works, exposing you to both new-build and upgrade

Qualifications

• Experience delivering TMR projects with a civil contractor.
• Strong skills in progress claims, variations and reporting.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.

Job description

This QLD owned and operated civil contractor has delivered landmark projects across the state. They have a reputation as a reliable and fair contractor who maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.

This project will run for two years, incorporate: Earthworks, pavements road, culvert, for NSW state governing bodies, their projects have a refreshing range which will give you exposure to new build / upgrades, whether new initiatives and bypasses or boosting the capabilities and traffic volume on existing roads.

As Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Progress claims & variations
• Reporting on a weekly & monthly basis
• Managing / mentoring junior engineers

To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering TMR projects with a civil contractor in similar conditions. While reporting directly into the Project manager, providing progress, financial and forecast reports across your area.
