Job summary

Lendlease is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team to lead the procurement and construction functions on a long-term project. You will manage site engineers, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.

You will oversee construction planning, productivity, sustainability, EHS compliance, and quality assurance while mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of on-site construction delivery experience.
• Proven track record on large-scale building projects (ideally >$100m).
• Strong skills in programme development, cost control, and risk management.
• Experience resolving design and coordination issues.
• Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Deep understanding of EHS, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.

About the role:

Lendlease is seeking aSenior Project Engineerto join our team in Brisbane to help deliver a long-term project.

In this role, you’ll lead the procurement and construction functions, manage site/project engineers, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll oversee construction planning, productivity, sustainability, EHS compliance, quality assurance, and financial and contract management. You’ll also mentor junior staff and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.

As a senior member of the project team, you will play a key role in driving collaboration across disciplines, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and championing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will be instrumental in shaping project outcomes and contributing to the long-term success of Lendlease’s operations in Brisbane.

About You:
