Job summary

Barwon Water seeks an experienced Project Director to lead a complex capital project from development through delivery and operational transition. You’ll provide end-to-end leadership, manage scope, cost, schedule, risk and benefits, and align with strategic objectives.

You’ll navigate governance, government funding and regulatory considerations while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver lasting regional impact for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant tertiary degree and/or master’s qualification.
• Professional Engineer registration in Victoria and/or recognised project management certification.
• Experience delivering major projects with significant budgets.
• Knowledge of water, sewerage or recycled water infrastructure would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end leadership of a major capital project, accountable for scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk and benefits.
• Navigate governance, government funding, reporting and acquittal requirements and regulatory considerations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and partners to deliver successful outcomes and maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
• Influence what is delivered and how value is created for the region.
